Welcome to the third edition! 9/02/2006
After gathering the information for the Resource Page for the Wenatchee,
WA camera club (Photography Association of Wenatchee - PAW) I've come to
the realization that the page is now too long and some entries don't go
into enough detail.
PAW Resource Page
I'll have a chance here to tell more about my personal involvement with
photography. If you haven't visited my web site "Eleanor's Travels",
here's the HOME PAGE.
Today I'll concentrate on two outstanding resources: Photographing
in the Southwest and the web site Radiant Vista.
The Southwest is definately the place to be going
now. One reason is
that the water level in Lake Powell is down due to a long draught and
photographers can get back into canyons that were floaded by the Glen
Canyon Dam on the Colorado River. Begin reading about the area HERE and
Google for more information.
Laurent Martres has documented this area with stunning photography and
he has written photographer's guide books. Land
of the Canyons & Photographing the Southwest . His
books.
His CDs will
certainly inspire you! PhotoTrip
USA is another wonderful SW resource featuring
the work of many fine photographers including Laurent. There are over
30 links on that page.

Radiant Vista is one of the best sites I have found in
my quest to find outstanding resources! Their Video
Tutorials and PDF
Tutorials give us a wealth of fine learning material. I've
made up this page to get you started. There is a fine article "The
Myth of Talent" there as well as a link to their workshops .
Finally, it's getting to be the time to gear up for shooting
Fall Colors. Several years ago I took a Colorado Fall Color Worshop from
Joe Van OS and
have always enjoyed this moody 'capture'. See my home page for many more
Colorado images.

If you wish to contribute articles and/or links to materials for inclusion
please feel free to do so.
