Eleanor's PhotoBlog - Issue #20

Welcome to the 20th edition..... 10/06/2007

It's Fall Color time here in Leavenworth, WA, on the east side of the North Cascade Mountains. I believe that we are having the best color season that I can remember. So I'd initially like to share some shots I took on the 4th. There had been rain the day before so some of the leaves were still nice with droplets. The sun came out for awhile but was just too contrasty.

As I have done so often this year, I used the SONY DSC-H9. I needed very little post processing. I bracketed 3 shots for each and chose the best of the three to further adjust. I made slight adjustments to the histogram, used a slight amount of Paint Shop Pro's Clarify tool, did a slight amount of sharpening and finally the JPEG optimizer. DPReview article

After gathering the information for the Resource Page for the Wenatchee, WA camera club (Photography Association of Wenatchee - PAW) I've come to the realization that the page is now too long and some entries don't go into enough detail.

I'll have a chance here to tell more about my personal involvement with photography. If you haven't visited my web site "Eleanor's Travels", here's the HOME PAGE.
