The Cider House addition - circa 1843
Built as an extension to the Wool Shed for the purpose of producing
apple cider. The horse driven crush was used to crush
the apples (grown on the Estate where the Rose garden
now is located). The crushed was then used to make
Cider which was sent back to England to be sold.
