Behind the Servants' Quarters
"Initially built as a smaller L shaped building, this was
upgraded in the 1840's by Thomas' third son, William (the architect).
The mew building alloed for the house servants to be accommodated
in this separate building rather than in the attic of the main house.
On the lower floor was the cooking kitchen (now a restaurant),
larder, pantry baking room and store rooms."
From Woolmers Brochure
Courtyard - became a courtyard when the new front of the
House was added on in 1845. The cellars are accessed from the courtyard.
