In April of 2003 I was priviledged to spend an entire morning at Glen Monarch. No other 'tourists' were there that day. My time there was one of the high points of my month long stay in New Zealand. Judi gave me a wonderful tour and I was especially touched by her love of all the animals and her household pets. Graham showed me how he separated the sheep into three different pens and later sheared three for me. I fell in love with the new huntaway pups and enjoyed scones with jam and whipped cream along with our late moring tea. I realize now that I have no photos of the farm house itself. I may have to go back!
