From a distance

While on tour of Western Australia in April 2004 I took a flight from Kununara, to Purnululu N. P., other wise known as the Bungle Bungles. Although the temperature was hovering around 100 F and I had to have a wet towel around my neck to keep from getting overheated, it was one of the most exciting days in all the traveling that I have done. While inside Catherdral Dome someone asked why I wasn't eating my lunch and my reply was that I hadn't come here to eat my lunch ... but to photograph!
There are so many photos here ... and many, many still in the computer ... I hope you will look at the larger versions of at least half of them! Before you do, I suggest that you view this page from Nature Base so that you will better understand what you are seeing! First, before the hike begins:

After the flight we boarded this bus.
